Its time to organize Rugby in Juneau

This site is created to begin the process of bringing together those of us in Juneau that have played rugby before and want to continue to play, train, and socialize with other rugby players. While this will be a process that will not happen overnight, it is time to get the ball rolling. For this to occur, we first need to find out if there is enough people here that want to participate. If we can have enough people to get together and toss the ball, train, and even play small sided games, that would be a great start. In time, if enough people gain interest in being a part of the group, we could look to join in the Alaska Rugby Football Union and eventually compete with other teams up north.

Hopefully if you are interested you can contact me at rugbyjuneau@gmail.com and we can begin to gather for training and small sided games. If you have prior playing expereince or are interested in playing, I will use the email address to communicate with players and individuals interested on scheduling gatherings. If you are an Old Boy and do not want to play but have in the past and want to share knowledge, experience, and rugby social events, your participation will only help this process of developing a rugby club in this town.
